Sinus histiocytosis with massive lymphadenopathy is a rare benign self-limiting disease of unknown etiology. The salivary gland involvement, indicating the extranodal character of the disease, often presents a diagnostic dilemma requiring immunohistochemical staining of surgically removed tumor to confirm the diagnosis.
