The restoration of non-carious cervical lesions is specific, mostly because of the location of their margins, especially the cervical margin, which is determined in cement and/or dentine. This feature makes the cervical margin more susceptible to micro-leakage, causing marginal discoloration, postoperative sensitivity, development of the secondary caries and loss of the restoration.
