In this paper the efficiency of heating of continuous welded r ails (CWRs) under track laying when 3-phase low frequency supplying system is applied has been carefully considered. On the basis of computations confirme d by the investigated results, for different heaters location as well as differen t voltage phase shifts, the con- clusions concerning proper selection of the structure of th e energy supplying systems are formulated.
