After the announced first phase of the recorded material collecting and the information on the existing schools in the rural areas in the administrative are of the City of Niš, the data base on the schools in 68 villages was created. In this paper, the possible systematization models for the existing schools have been presented, and the criteria for the analysis and its evaluation in respect to the determined set of parameters have been defined. The conducted classifications make further research possible and gives the guidelines for the concrete action in the revitalization of the education and the village development
