In this paper we give a generalization of the Lagrange mean value theorem via lower and upper derivative, aswellasappropriatecriteriaofmonotonicityandconvexityforarbitraryfunction f : (a,b) → R. Some applications to the neoclassical economic growth model are given (from mathematical point of view).
