A very important aspect of websites nowadays is the ir accessibility. Thanks to modern, constantly evolving technologies, it is pos sible to create friendly services for each user, regardless of his state of health. W eb sites accessibility may be considered in aspects of their functionality and reada bility. One of methods for exploring this issue is the use of validators, i.e. autom ated tests to check the syntax of the documents posted on the Internet. The purpose of th is article is to compare the selected tools. The structure of the article is as fo llows. Firstly, we explain the importance of the accessibility of the web sites. The n w briefly characterize our proposal of validators evaluation criteria for studyin g web-accessibility and present the results of evaluation of selected validators. Final ly, we are presenting conclusions.
