There are few studies that show the increase of the dynamic force maximum (1 RM) through a protocol of action reciprocal (PAR). The objective of the present study was to determine the increase of 1 RM in the exercises squat barbell (SQ), bench press (PB) and deadlift (PM) through a PAR. Voluntarily involved 20 healthy subjects (14 men and 6 women) trained in strength training with overloads that were divided randomly into Group 1 (20,4±3,72 years old, size 1,72±0,06 m, weight 63,7±14,59 kg) and group 2 (20,1±2,28 years old, size 1,66±0,07 m, weight 65,6±14,34 kg), a program of strength training with a frequency of 3 sessions per week and 3 weeks was applied in these in which we performed a pre-test (week 0) and 1 RM post-test (week 4), include that in the post-test was used pair in Group 1 to compare 1 RM by both groups. For statistical analysis we used the statistical package IBM SPSS V.22 with a 95% confidence level and a p-value of 0,05, we applied tests of normality (Shapiro-Wilk), uniformity (test Levene), analysis of variance of a factor (ANOVA) and contrast test (Test post-hoc). After analyzing the results obtained it is concluded that the protocol of action reciprocal used in this study only significantly increase the 1 RM in the exercise SQ (p<0,05).
