This paper aims to present an overview of the Public Solidarity Economy Centers of the State of Paraná (CPES), which are considered one of the most expressive milestones of the Public Policies of Solidarity Economy. Solidary economy arises as a result of the contradictions of the capitalist mode of production, which produce increasing social inequalities, dehumanized relations and environmental unsustainability. The Public Centers present themselves as a strategy of the public power to foment and stimulate the solidary economic enterprises through articulations, discussions, exchanges and experiences and, mainly, the aid in the commercialization of its products and / or services. Regarding the methodological procedures, this research has a qualitative exploratory and descriptive approach. Two case studies were carried out: one in the Londrina unit and the other in São José dos Pinhais, covering all Public Solidarity Economy Centers operating in the State of Paraná. Interviews were conducted with the main managers for further discussion of the results in light of the literature produced in the area. It was evidenced the timid performance of the enterprises supported by the CPES, demonstrating a chronic dependence on the public power, which distance them from a potential autonomy.
