Title: TEST UV-VIS LAYER TiO2/N2 FOR DETERMINING BAND GAP ENERGY] Research has been conducted on the effect of nitrogen doping variations on the energy band gap in the TiO2 layer which is grown by the doctor blade technique. TiO2/N2 layers were made with a concentration of 15%, 25% and 25% and TiO2 layers without doping were calcined at 500°C for 3 hours. Characterization of energy band gap using a UV-Vis spectrometer at a wavelength range of 200 nm-700 nm. The energy band gap is obtained using the Swanepoel equation and the Touch Plot method. The results showed 3.9250 eV without doping gap energy and nitrogen doping can reduce energy band gap 3.8750 eV, 3.8375eV and 3.9125 eV, respectively. The smallest energy band gap was obtained at a concentration of 25% of 3.8375 eV.
