In this paper, we introduce the concept of multiplicative proximal contraction mapping which is a Banach’s contraction for non-self mapping in the framework of multiplicative metric spaces and we also prove best proximity point theorems for such mappings. Some illustrative example is furnished which demonstrate the validity of the hypotheses and degree of utility of our results. c ©2015 All rights reserved.
