Una mirada a los nuevos enfoques de la gestión pública

The authors who have been studied here state that establishing a new paradigm of public management, called new public management (NPM), implies overcoming bureaucracy; the responsibility for public administration´s problems and crisis is thus assigned to this. The article sets out how such new administrative rationality has been constructed from lucrative private investment emerging from economics and, more particularly, from neoclassical economic thinking which exalts what is private, individualism and profitability, resulting from the historic developments of several disciplines which have participated in the study of organisations.
