Aiming at developing a more reflective and protagonist literary reader, this paper analyzes the multiple readings of the metaphor in the poem “Rosa”, by Cecilia Meireles, which were generated during dialogic and collaborative Group Think-Aloud practice, through coconstruction and negotiation of meaning. This study investigates how the conceptual metaphor participated in the process of the readers understanding of the poetic metaphor.
