In China’s metropolis, wet markets are challenged in planning, design and management during the transition period. In this paper, three East Asian metropolis, namely Hong Kong, Taiwan Districts and Singapore, are chosen for case studies. Based on the introduction of wet markets development process, the paper analyzes the measures in facility planning, architecture design and management mechanism, and finally discusses their implications for China. 关键词: 菜市场 ;转型 ;更新 ;东亚
