Currently the Heritage Impact Assessment implements within a certain scope in the world. England is one of the typical cases. In the context of sustainable development, faced with the inevitable development, England put Heritage Impact Assessment to a strong planning system, especially in the approval process, for managing the historic environment and the setting. The studies include the importance of heritage and the contribution of the setting, and the evaluation of impact the proposed development on historic environment and the setting.
