City planning of London has played a critical role in the city development since the Second World War. This paper starts with reviewing the evolution and background of London Planning Framework, and argues that the London Plan making has been a dynamic process of plan preparation, implementation, monitoring, evaluating and renewing. The following section introduces the implementation framework and major contents of Greater London Spatial Development Strategy Plan (2011), and illustrates the main approaches of the plan. It concludes with the implication of London experience in implementation mechanism, planning system as well as public participation. 关键词: 实施框架;空间战略发展规划;伦敦
