My paper establishes a relation between transgenics foods and several concepts in Heidegger, Nietzsche and Schelling philosophies, in an attempt to answer the following questions: ¿What kind of science emerges with Biotechnology? ¿How is this science connected to Heidegger’s and Nietzsche’s critical thought? My argument is that transgenic food is there an utmost manifestation of a science that pretends to appropriate life and its conditions, and thus imperiling the possibility of any uncovering.
