Martin Knapp is Professor of Social Policy at the London School of Economics and Political Science, UK, where he directs the Personal Social Services Research Unit and co-directs the London School of Economics Health and Social Care, a center with more than 70 researchers. He is also Professor of Health Economics at King’s College, London, UK. Since 2009, he has also been director of the National Institute for Health Research School for Social Care Research.
