Características da formação matemática das futuras professoras das séries iniciais do ensino fundamental a partir de cursos pedagogia de Curitiba

This text aims to show how math knowledge, necessary to practice teaching in the early grades of elementary school, is acquired by the 2011 graduating students of three pedagogy courses in Curitiba. As an instrument of research, we used a questionnaire to 124 graduating ones in three important universities in Curitiba, being two private institutions and a public one. Aware of the complexity of the pedagogue training as generalist teacher (being able to teach all subjects in the early grades of elementary school), however, on practicing their
