Contribuciones metodológicas para valorar la multifuncionalidad de la agricultura campesina en la Meseta Purépecha

This paper offers an analysis of the farming Multi-functionality of agriculture (MFA) in the Purepecha plateau of Michoacan (Mexico) in order to identify some of its components and contribute to the development of an adequate methodology for its evaluation. Among the methodological innovations proposed we emphasise the methods developed in order to: 1) estimate the supply of marketless goods from contingent evaluation schemes, 2) approximate the evaluation of quality of life and 3) measure the diversification risk in the income of rural households.
