The purpose of the research was to find out the cocept of among system as a model of education and teaching in documentary sources, and also the realization of concept in education and teachng setting. The design research was analysis content of documentary sources and qualitative approach. That is fisrt, studied the written documentary sources of system among , and the second to observe the realization of the concept, and also to compare both. To fullfiled data the subjects necessary were a member of the board Majelis Luhur Taman Siswa, theachers and students of Taman Siswa school, and also the old alumnus of Taman Siswa School. To analysis the data employed qualitative analysis with established the topic of recitation. The result shown among system the work of Ki Hadjar Dewantara actually a educational and teaching system that had complettely and comprehensively quality. Among system was educational method that full of family spirit, and based on two foundation that is having the natural and the freedom. So it could be implemented lifetime, like the slogan that still used. Nevertheless, in the development and realization on Taman Siswa school not all the among system method could be implemented completely.
