Müzik Öğretmenlerinin Mesleki Genel Yeterlik Algıları ile Doyum ve Tükenmişlik Düzeyleri Arasındaki Bağıntının İncelenmesi

Gunumuzde farkli ozelliklere sahip ve farkli konumlarda gorev yapan muzik ogretmenlerinin mesleki acidan yasadiklari doyum ve tukenmislik duygulari da farklilik gosterebilmektedir. Bu arastirmada muzik ogretmenlerinin mesleki yeterlik algilari ile mesleki doyum ve mesleki tukenmislik duygulari arasindaki baginti arastirilmistir. Arastirmaya 219 muzik ogretmeni katilmistir.  Arastirmanin bulgularina gore, muzik ogretmenlerinin mesleki yeterlik algilarinin, mesleki doyum ve tukenmislik durumlarina onemli bir etki yaptigi, yeterince mesleki bilgi ve beceriye sahip olmadiklarinda bu durumun mesleki tukenmislik yasanmasina neden oldugu ortaya cikmistir. Bununla birlikte, genellikle yuksek duzeyde doyum ve tukenmislik yasadiklari ve  en fazla ogrenme-ogretme surecinde kendilerini daha yetersiz hissettikleri ortaya cikmistir. Abstract Professional satisfaction and burnout levels of music teachers who have different characteristics and serve in different positions may vary. The present research studies the relationship between professional competency perceptions and professional satisfaction and burnout among music teachers. A total of 219 music teachers participated in the research. According to obtained findings, professional competency perception has a significant effect of music teachers’ professional satisfaction and burnout levels, and when they don’t have the adequate professional knowledge and skills, this results in professional burnout. Additionally, teachers generally experience high levels of satisfaction and burnout, and they mostly feel incompetent in learning-teaching processes.  Key Words: music teachers, professional competency, professional satisfaction, burnout syndrome
