Miguel Ángel Ayala Valdovinos Daniel A.F. Villagómez Sergio Luis Schweminski Benítez Abstract Based on cytogenetic analysis, five individuals from a total of 10 animals (Bos taurus), which had the antecedent of coming from heterosexual multiple parturitions, were diagnosed as freemartin. Additionally, two of these individuals were anatomopathologically studied. The presence of the chromosome chimerism (60,XX/60,XY) characterized the studied animals. Exceptionally, a freemartin individual showed only 60,XY cells. Anatomopathological findings of two freemartin studied at slaugther showed masculinization of the reproductive tract with presence of testicular tissue in the gonads.
