Utilization of low NOx coal combustion by-products. Quarterly report, April 1 - June 30, 1996

This project is studying a beneficiation process to make power plant fly ash a more useful by-product. Accomplishments for this reporting period are presented for the following tasks: laboratory characterization which includes sample collection, material characterization and laboratory testing of ash processing operations; product testing including concrete, concrete block/brick, plastic fillers and activated carbon; and market and economic analysis.
