The wave mechanical cross-section formulas for one incident channel and N exit channels are derived in matrix form. A method for calculating these cross sections is discussed and a listing of the Fortran program used on an IBM-704 is given. As an illustration, the program is used to calculate cross sections obtained in the weak coupling approximation in the scattering of positrons by atomic hydrogen. (auth
