In this the eleventh quarter of the grant period, experimental research focused on the stability of adsorbed hydrogen on the surface of annealed Saran char during gasification in both hydrogen and oxygen. The general experimental procedures used throughout the grant have been followed, namely gasification in one or more gaseous environments followed by temperature programmed desorption to 1500{degrees}C to determine the quantity of hydrogen adsorbed on the char surface at the end of gasification
