2. Organizational Tutorial. In this spirit, if we take a systemic approach, it is important that the geodetic and alignment engineering is integrated into the design and accelerator engineering at a very early stage. Naturally “Alignment”, which for short we will use instead of n Geodetic and Alignment Engineering”, is not the center of all activities as shown in the diagram below. However, it is an important end-user; an end-user, which may be the last to complete work in the tunnel and upon whom depends a timely turn-on and well-functioning of the accelerator. This diagram, therefore, should be interpreted as representing the required communication channels which must be built into the organization.
