The production of charmed particles in two-photon processes is calculated. The results obtained are relevant for e+e-machines at energies accessible at DORIS and PEP. In particular, we.predict that two body final states consisting of DE, D*E* and DE* will have a signal/background ratio of almost 2/l. The calculational scheme is that of a charmonium model where effects due to the strong coupling of the cc resonances to the decay channels are taken into account. As a by-product of this calculation we find a manifest realization \ of the duality ansatz.
