The study is a concise presentation ofpedagogical and educational work of Henryk Ruszczyc at the Center for the Blind in Laski. His education project, highly regarded in the contemporary education of the visually impaired, has been recognised among acknowledged systems and pedagogical concepts by: S.B. Mother Elizabeth – Róża Czacka, Felix Dupanloup Antoine Philibert, Janusz Korczak and St. John Bosco, who are a source of inspiration for the theories and teaching practice of the 20th century.
