Primer Parotis Tüberkülozu: Olgu Sunumu / Primary Parotid Tuberculosis: A Case Report

Ozet Primer tuberkuloz enfeksiyonu en sik akcigerler, kemik, meninks ve lenf nodu tutulumu ile karsimiza cikar. Nadir olmakla birlikte primer parotis tuberkulozu parotis kitlesi olarak karsimiza cikmaktadir. Tanisi ince igne aspirasyon biyopsisi ile konulabilir. Tani konulamayan vakalarda parotidektomi sonrasi patolojik piyesin incelenmesi ile ‘’kazeifikasyon nekrozu ve granulomatoz iltihap’’ gorulmesi primer parotis tuberkulozunu dusundurmektedir. Bu yazida sag primer parotis tuberkuloz enfeksiyonu olan bir olgu literatur verileri esliginde sunulmustur. Abstract Primary tuberculosis infection mostly involve the lungs, bones, meninx and lymph nodes. The diagnosis can be made by fine-needle aspiration biopsy. The “caseification necrosis and granulomatous inflammation” revealed by the histopathological examination of the specimen following the parotidectomy indicates primary parotid gland tuberculosis in the cases in which the diagnosis cannot be made by fine-needle aspiration biopsy. In this article, we discuss a case with primary tuberculosis infection in the right parotid gland in the light of the relevant literature.
