This article aims to identify the level of teachers’ knowledge onICTat the Multidisciplinary Regional Faculty of Carazo (UNAN-Managua) and prioritize the teachers’ most relevant digital training needs. The study is approached from a quantitativemethodological approach and a questionnaire adaptation is performed taking into account the research on ICT skills developed by the Spanish Public University. The results show that teachers require and demand higher training in three dimensions: strengthen knowledge associated with ICT and its role in the new context of higher education, arbitrate mechanisms for advanced searches and selection of information on the Web and increased knowledge and use of educational applications of Web 2.0.
