This research paper aims at addressing a number of weaknesses that still prevail in the learning evaluation process of teaching physics in engineering careers, which hamper a great deal the formative nature of evaluation. Among these deficiencies, the little use of ICT to evaluate students’ learning has had a high incidence. These deficiencies were detected through a diagnosis, and its results proved the need to direct actions to solve the problems in the evaluation, due to its undeniable importance in the formation of the students. If these deficiencies are not taken into account, it would contradict the fact that students, as subjects of their own formation, should participate actively and consciously in the evaluation process. It is expected that this analysis allows planning actions to ensure the training of teachers in the process of improving the evaluation of learning of their students.
