This study was intended to understand how university students evaluate information found on the Internet. The study was carried out at Mondragon University (The Basque Country, Spain). Participants were 140 students and 32 of their teachers of the Audiovisual Communication Bachelor Degree. Quantitative data was collected using two questionnaires with information searching tasks and opinion items, one for the students and other for getting the opinion of the teachers about how their students evaluate the information they found on Internet.
