Calcifediol Treatment and COVID-19-Related Outcomes

Dear Preprints with the Lancet Readers, We removed this preprint due to concerns about the description of the research in this paper. This led us to initiate an investigation into this study. Following the conclusion of an investigation into this study by the National Centre of Biomedical Research on Frailty and Healthy Aging (CIBERFES), Spain, the report concluded that: 1) In the elaboration of the manuscript and the correspondence of the authors with the Journal, there was a series of mistakes made by the authors in the qualification of the study and its description; and 2) At all times good practices for clinical research were carefully followed and in no case was the health of the patients put at any risk.
