This paper discusses the close relationship between the concept of health-affirming everyday landscapesand the idea of sustainable city design.The French National program of eco-neighborhood certification EcoQuartier is described and the correlation between the concepts of health-affirming landscapes,sustainable cities, and eco-neighborhoods is explained using the example of a selected eco-neighborhood in France.
