: Moviola is an interactive browser used to create, examine, and manipulate graphical representations of synchronization histories of concurrent programs. It is part of an integrated, programmable toolkit for debugging and performance tuning parallel programs. This guide presents Moviola by describing its use as a standalone program and as a component of the toolkit. In addition, we describe the interface seen by a programmer of the toolkit. Keywords: Visualization; Performance analysis; Multiprocessors; Debugging; Program replay; Parallel programming environments.
