In this paper we reflect about organizational communication in strategy as practice approach. This view is bead on School of Montreal contributions, which presents a specific understanding of communication as constitutive of organizations. In this essay, we explore interfaces between two proposed themes strategy as practice and organizational communication – highlighting some studies which had already shown this relationship. First we present fundamental issues about strategy as practice approach. Later, we discuss communication in strategic practices, arguing that it can be understood as a form to comprehend strategic practice, a methodological approach of process, and a metaphor of it. Thus, we present strategic process as a organizational construction based on communicational and discursive actions and practices.
