As research continues to grow on student veterans, it is important that we recognize the multiple identities within the student veteran demographic. Graduate student veterans remain largely un-researched. This qualitative, descriptive study seeks to understand the lived experiences of graduate student veterans at a large research university in the southwest. Themes from the study include identity, matriculation, money matters, community, the demystification of the veteran, and graduate perspectives on undergraduate veterans.
