A mail survey of physicians and dentists assessed their knowledge of Tel-Med; their use of it in the practice setting; and their opinion of its potential value in practice. Data suggests that both physicians and dentists regard Tel-Med's potential as high and small percentages of both groups have actually used Tel-Med in their practices. However, both groups are concerned over the potential for unsound self-diagnosis.
