Here we introduced a successful case showing neo-adjuvant chemotherapy followed by radical resection for a borderline resectable unicentric Castleman disease (UCD). This study demonstrated that neoadjuvant rituximab in combination with cyclophosphamide, epirubicin, vincristine and prednisone (R-CHOP) chemotherapy alleviated the symptom of plasma cell type of Castleman disease (PCCD) as well as downsized the tumor to provide an opportunity for radical surgical resection. It would contribute to the treatment for borderline resectable or unresectable UCD in the future.
