Corynebacterium Striatum is a multidrug-resistant nosocomial pathogen increasingly associated with a wide range of human infections and high morbidity. In this study, we report a case of C. Striatum associated postoperative wound infection in patient suffering from oral squamous cell carcinoma. Timely diagnosis of the infection and prompt treatment lead to the favourable outcome of the patient. This case highlights that clinicians should be cautious with C. striatum as an important nosocomial pathogen in immunocompromised patients.
