Infectious diseases have a significant impact on health. Identifying the pathogenic kind of an infection has important implications for the clinical selection of therapy. Serum amyloid A has been found to have significant changes in expression levels upon infection. The purpose of the present study was to analyze the current status of research on the use of serum amyloid A in infection using a bibliometric approach.
