Headaches in selected systemic diseases in children

Headache is the most common reason that children are referred to child neurology practices. It occurs in all age groups and can have various causes. This article describes secondary headaches associated with selected pediatric problems. According to the current international classification of headache disorders, the discussed issues are highlighted as headaches attributed to a chemical substance or reaction to its withdrawal and headaches attributed to infection.
