This article analyzes the comparisons of net neutrality with the pricing of the Internet. We note that the future threats of congestion which call for the renewal of the infrastructure are accompanied by a search for lucre from the operators of the Internet. This tendency has the ambition of creating a deep discrimination of the Internet by imposing pricing at the interoperator level as well; at the level of the application, content and service providers rather than that of the users. This leads us to glimpse through the prospective method that highly discriminatory and anti-neutral scenarios will ultimately be characterized by individualized pricing.
