The aim of the paper is to reconstruct the current legal status of the air transport organized as a part of tourist events in Poland, to make systematization of the nomenclature used in the field of research and to indicate the direction of the evolution of legal norms in the context of the further development of air charter segment. The main research method was the analysis of selected legal acts; as the complementary method the analysis of some statistical data was used.
