The paper shows how the idea of "service orientation" may be used not as a technical principle only but also as a tool for analysis of the substance of the business - for building the process-managed organization. The principle of services as a common principle for developing the business, and organizing its IT support is used for mental overcoming of the illusory contradiction between both areas - business, and IT.
