The study aimed to explore the developmental dimensions mentioned at Surat Alnahl either through its general connotation or detailed indications of the verses, and to disclose the concept of development and the roots of its overall dimensions, pillars and barriers. This may assist to address the issue of ignorance of some people about life developmental issues included in the Holy Quran, or those who believe that such issues are only mentioned for general guidance. The study also aimed to highlight all the earthly and religious purposes included in the Holy Quran. The study followed the inductive method and then deductive analysis through careful exploration of the verses of this Sura, understanding their meanings with reference to the sayings of scholars and interpreters, and also through the analytical view of verses. The study concluded that the utmost dimension of development is Man in general and that the causes of such development are due to three main aspects: mind, soul and body. The study also revealed that Man has huge capacities to achieve development if treated appropriately, and that Individual and collective interests are integrated under the moral and legal responsibility.
