MODERN SİNEMANIN ERKEN TARİHİ VE MODERN SİNEMA ÖRNEĞİ OLARAK JEAN LUC GODARD SİNEMASI

OZET Sinema kokleri Aydinlanmaya dayanan modern bati uygarliginin bizlere sundugu bir icattir. Hareketli goruntulerin kaydedilmesi ve gosterilmesi Avrupa ve Amerika’da yurutulen bir dizi bilimsel bulusun sonucunda gerceklesmistir. Modernitenin teknik yonu disindaki kulturel boyutu ise sinemasal anlati ve sinemasal dusuncenin olusmasina kaynaklik etmistir. Sinema edebiyat, resim ya da diger guzel sanat dallarina gore koklu bir gecmisi olmamasina ragmen icadindan cok kisa bir sure sonra anlatim olanaklarini gelistirmeyi basarmistir. Dusunsel ve teknolojik gelismelerden yararlandigi olcude yasanilan caga taniklik etmistir. Bu makale modernite ve sinema arasindaki iliskinin teknik ve toplumsal kosullarini inceleyerek, modern sinemanin icerige ve bicime dayali ayrintilarini ortaya koymaya calisacaktir. Post-modern sinemanin tartisildigi gunumuzde modern sinema taniminin hem sinemanin tarihsel gelisimi icinde hem de kendi sanatsal olanaklari icinde ele alinmasinin gerekliligi dusuncesinden hareket eder. Calismanin yontemi modern sinema uzerine daha once yapilmis calismalarin kimi zaman analitik kimi zaman ise yol gosterici olarak incelenmesi seklindedir. EARLY HISTORY OF MODERN CINEMA AND CINEMA OF JEAN LUC GODARD AS A SAMPLE OF MODERN CINEMA ABSTRACT Cinema is an invention that modern Western Civilization has offered us since the Enlightenment. The recording and presenting of motion were caused by several scientific findings in Europe and The U.S.A. Cultural dimension of modernity except from the technical one supports cinema as cinematic narration. Although cinema does not have a long history in other forms of fine arts like literature and painting, it develops its own narration form quickly after its invention. It has been a witness of its period as much as its usage of intellectuality and technical developments.  This article examines the technical and social relationship between cinema and modernity and it tries to display the details based on form and content of modern cinema. In today’s world where we discuss post-modern cinema, the definition of modern cinema is made with its own artistic opportunities and the historical evolution of its.
