This article presents the pedagogical praxis of the municipal schools of the city of Sao Paulo, introduced by the Educom project, added by the City Hall in partnership with the Center of Communication and Education / School of Communication and Arts - USP, concomitantly with experience reports. The aim of Educom between 2001 and 2004 was the construction of citizenship by educommunication, by radio sonicity, engendering participatory democratic “communicative ecosystem”. The methodology of the project consists of practices: equipment operations, programming of the programs, elaboration of narrative affective maps and expositions of the experiences, interlacing, the voices of the students and teachers of the municipal schools with the members of the communities, in action / participation / educative. The theoretical and methodological goals that guided the study and the verification of the project results were: concept of reporting, research participation and experience in Walter Benjamin and the oral history method of Alessandro Portelli for interviews with members of the project at the time. The consideration obtained was the understanding that educommunication is a practice of social education through the process of knowledge construction and participatory actions unleashed.
