The objective of this study was to determine different concentrations of α-tocopherol on egg yolk phosphate diluents motility and viability spermatozoa pelung rooster stored at 4°C for 24 hours. This study was used completely randomized design (RAL) with 4 treatments. Each T0 (cement diluted with egg yolk phosphate without added α-tocopherol as control), T1 (cement diluted with egg yolk phosphate with α-tocopherol 300 μg / ml), T2 (cement diluted with egg yolk phosphate with αtocopherol 400 μg / ml), T3 (cement diluted with egg yolk phosphate with α-tocopherol 500 μg / ml). Each treatment consisted of 6 replications so that the number of samples used was 24. The observed variables were motility and viability of spermatozoa. The obtained were analyzed using the General Linear Model (Multivariate). The results showed that the addition of α-tocopherol in the yolk phosphate diluent significantly (P <0.05) on motility and viability of pelung rooster spermatozoa. The concentration α-tocopherol 400 μg / ml is the best concentration in maintaining the motility and viability of chicken spermatozoa stored at 4 ° C for 24 hours.
