Respons Imun Anjing Lokal Jantan Umur Diatas Satu Tahun Pasca Vaksinasi Rabies

The aim of this research is to determine the antibody titer of local male dogs aged over a year after being given rabies vaccination. This study used 10 dogs blood samples, taken in Gulingan village and tested with enzyme linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). The result of the study show that from 10 samples, 7 samples (70%) have protective antibody titer (serositif) and 3 samples have not had protective antibody titer (seronegatif). Seropositif is an optical density (OD) level above 0,5 IU, while seronegative is the level of optical density (OD) below 0,5 IU. Average OD level above 0,5 IU ml was found in dogs over 3 years old with removable / roam free maintenance system. An OD value below 0,5 IU is found in dogs under 3 years with roam free maintenance system.
